Abbeylands
The InHaus Group were employed by Island Restoration to produce the design and project manage the Abbeylands Estate located on the outskirts of Onchan in the Isle of Man. The site was previously home to a barn & farm complex with stables for the horses. The brief consisted of 10 houses, a mix of refurbishment of the barns and new builds.
Our final design comprised of 2x 5 bedroom houses, 2x 4 bedroom, 3x 3 bedroom and 3x 2 bedroom. We also designed a new block of stables and a garage complex. InHaus aspired to keep the scheme in touch with the farming history of the site whilst allowing enough contrast among the individual houses to give them their own unique personality.
